KO Shows brings entertainment and charity together.
“Knock Out” entertainment is the brainchild of Ray Bettinelli, a former music club owner and current Head Coach & Director at BCBA, a local youth athletic facility. Bettinelli developed the model as a creative way to raise money for both his and other struggling Volunteer 501-C3 not-for-profit organizations. The concept: provide local residents with an affordable night out to enjoy great entertainment while contributing much needed resources to Long Island’s passionate nonprofit sector.

With the economy in a downward spiral, smaller grass-root organizations are finding it harder to keep their doors open. Government grants or funding is all but exhausted, leaving charities to fend for themselves. The private sector helps, but with so many causes vying for assistance, they too, can only do so much.

And going door to door to ask residents for support is even tougher still. Today people are struggling to hold onto theirjobs and pay their mortgages; the chance of donating $25 to their local community charity appears remote at best.

Enter KO Shows. We’ve found a unique way to combine quality entertainment and charity. Whether it's music, theater or comedy, an affordable night out can be the perfect antidote in these trying economic times.

In return for an exciting diversion, individuals take satisfaction knowing that every dollar of each show’s proceeds gets poured back into the local ALL VOLUNTEER 501-C3 not-for-profits that serve our communities.

In addition, KO Shows spotlights the diverse talent pool on Long Island, giving artists a stage/venue to do what they do best. Plus, ALL KO Shows are recorded for re-broadcast on local Cable Television Networks, providing an additional level of exposure for our sponsors, our talent and the charities we support.

KO Shows - Fight for A CAUSE!

There are always a few BAD APPLES. Organizations like these make it even harder for
the smaller ALL VOLUNTEER Non-Profits to survive and keep their doors open.

Any donor who suspects they have been a victim of charitable solicitation fraud should contact
the Attorney General’s office at or by calling (212) 416-8402.
